Pipework
A pipe-cleaning duty begins with the actual wetted route. Record internal bore, supply and return lengths, elevation, valves and branch positions before specifying the CIP skid.
CLEANING OBJECTS
Choose the equipment boundary first. Each application below identifies the information and interfaces that shape a CIP system.
A pipe-cleaning duty begins with the actual wetted route. Record internal bore, supply and return lengths, elevation, valves and branch positions before specifying the CIP skid.
A tank is a surface-cleaning task as well as a liquid-circulation task. The cleaning device, internal fittings and low-point return determine what the CIP skid must deliver.
Plate, tubular and other heat-transfer equipment have different flow paths, pressure losses and soil patterns. The CIP scope must identify which side and which sections are included.
A filling system can contain multiple cleaning paths, removable parts and features that are not designed for CIP. Begin with the filling-equipment supplier’s approved cleaning boundary.
If several object types share a skid, describe the hardest duty and which circuits may run together.
