AI-generated concept illustration · final arrangement depends on the agreed duty.

What this arrangement does

A multi-circuit installation connects the cleaning skid to several defined equipment paths. The first decision is which paths must run at the same time. Many connections can share one sequential duty; true concurrency requires the supply, return, control and utility arrangement to support each active path.

When to consider it

  • Process areas with several defined tank, pipe, exchanger or filler circuits.
  • Sites where cleaning schedules need to fit around ongoing production.
  • Projects with future connection points that need a reviewed expansion boundary.

The trade-off to review

Shared equipment can create bottlenecks or competing flow paths. Review the worst simultaneous operating case and prevent a low-resistance circuit from diverting flow from another duty.

Common questions

What is the difference between a circuit and a duty?

A circuit is a defined connected path. An active cleaning duty is a path currently receiving the controlled cleaning sequence.

Can multiple connections share one pump?

Sequential service may be possible, subject to each circuit’s duty. Simultaneous paths require a specific hydraulic assessment.
