CLEANING OBJECT / Heat exchangers

Clean the product path within its material limits.

Plate, tubular and other heat-transfer equipment have different flow paths, pressure losses and soil patterns. The CIP scope must identify which side and which sections are included.

01

Define the cleaned path on the process drawing, including holding tubes and connected valves where applicable. Do not infer the full cleaning boundary from a skid connection.

02

Assess time, temperature and chemistry against the soil and materials. The production heating history can change soil behavior.

03

Confirm the agreed flow and return conditions at the equipment. Isolate utility circuits and production connections according to the design.

Production state: cleaning supply and return are isolated under the agreed valve and control arrangement. A drawn connection does not prove safe isolation.
