Storage
Solution & recovery tanks
Hold each assigned cleaning medium and keep incompatible returns apart.
SOLUTION STORAGE
Tank count describes storage and segregation. Circuit count describes equipment connections. Concurrency describes simultaneous cleaning duties.
| Possible tank duty | Why it exists | Question before assigning it |
|---|---|---|
| Fresh / rinse water | Provide an agreed water inventory | Quality, supply rate and peak demand? |
| Cleaning solution | Prepare or store one selected medium | Chemical compatibility and required working volume? |
| Recovered solution | Hold qualified return for later reuse | Accept/reject criteria and product-family segregation? |
| Recovered rinse | Collect separately approved rinse water | Which subsequent duty may use it and under what limits? |
Consider circuit hold-up, minimum pump suction level, return delay, heating arrangement and the chosen operating cases. The pipe inventory calculator covers only straight pipe; connected equipment and operating reserve remain separate inputs.
Storage
Hold each assigned cleaning medium and keep incompatible returns apart.
Routing
Select a circuit and direct its returning liquid to the agreed recovery or discharge route.
Measurement
Support medium identification and concentration assessment within a calibrated chemical system.
Draw the return segregation and identify conditions that send liquid to drain. Reuse is assessed against soil, chemistry and contamination boundaries, including allergens and flavor carryover.
Specify the total circuits and the number that must run together.
