What this arrangement does
A compact layout brings the agreed storage, pump, heating and valve duties into a limited installation envelope. Compact is a layout objective, not a verified capacity rating. The proposed footprint must still allow safe connection, operation, drainage and service access.
When to consider it
- Process areas with a measured installation envelope.
- Local equipment duties with clearly defined hold-up and connections.
- Projects where maintenance access can be planned alongside space constraints.
The trade-off to review
A tightly arranged skid can become difficult to service or drain. Reducing tank volume or pipe access without checking the actual circuit may undermine the duty the skid was intended to perform.
