INDUSTRY APPLICATION / CIP

Juice & beverage processing CIP systems

A juice or beverage cleaning scope should follow the actual product route from tanks and blending equipment through thermal processing and filling. Identify the equipment that is CIP-compatible and the components that need separate treatment.

01

Residue and product changes

Describe pulp, suspended solids, sugar-rich products and flavor changes where relevant to the installed equipment.

02

Thermal equipment

Collect heat-exchanger and product-channel information rather than applying a tank-cleaning duty to the whole route.

03

Return removal

Check low points, long transfer runs and the return behavior of each vessel.

04

Filling boundary

Use the filling-equipment supplier’s approved cleaning path and control permissions.

Define the cleaning boundary

A beverage line may include removable or non-CIP parts. Those parts require a separate method; connecting the line to a skid does not include them automatically.
