ENGINEERING GUIDE

Agree a condition envelope before a recipe

Time, temperature, chemical action and hydraulics must be assessed together for the actual soil and materials.

Measure at a useful location

Skid outlet temperature is not automatically the condition at the farthest equipment surface. Heat-up time, heat loss and the return path can matter. Decide which instruments represent the cleaning boundary and when the required exposure period actually begins.

Control chemistry with context

Chemical identity, concentration, temperature and soil load are linked. Use the chemical supplier’s validated method for the selected application and check material compatibility. This site does not supply a universal caustic percentage, temperature or cycle duration.

Document changes

A revised product, material, recipe or circuit can change the agreed envelope. Manage those changes with the responsible plant team and revisit the verification and validation evidence before production release.

Technical context

Industry context: Tetra Pak Dairy Processing Handbook — cleaning dairy equipment. This reference provides technical context for cleaning-circuit design; it does not certify or guarantee an equipment configuration.
