ENGINEERING GUIDE

Separate execution records from cleaning validation

A completed cycle is one part of the evidence needed for an agreed clean condition.

Validation sets the case

The responsible plant team defines the soil challenge, relevant residues or organisms, acceptance criteria and suitable methods. Representative and difficult locations must be considered. Equipment commissioning and recorded process conditions support this work but do not replace it.

Routine verification checks the result

Agree what operators inspect, what instruments record and what samples or tests are required for the application. Allergen and flavor carryover need their own assessment; no single generic sensor can answer every cleanliness question.

Records must be useful

Specify circuit identity, recipe revision, measured conditions, alarms, deviations and authorized release. Decide retention and export needs before selecting controls. If conditions were not achieved or a cycle was interrupted, the record should make that visible.

Technical context

Industry context: Tetra Pak Dairy Processing Handbook — cleaning dairy equipment. This reference provides technical context for cleaning-circuit design; it does not certify or guarantee an equipment configuration.
